Georgia Cattlemen’s Association Membership
In the above link under “Special Notes” type: Mid-GA Chapter.
The Mid-Ga Cattlemen’s Association is the largest chapter of the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association. MGCA is made up of cattlemen, cattlewomen, and junior members in a six county area: Lamar, Monroe, Pike, Spalding, Upson & Talbot. MGCA’s purpose is to promote, develop and encourage the production of cattle in the multi-county area and in Georgia and to advance the interests and welfare of middle Georgia and of Georgia cattlemen in the growing, grazing, feeding, and marketing of cattle without pecuniary profit to the individual member or to the Association. Our members meet bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month starting in January. At the meetings, members enjoy a beef dinner, conduct chapter business, and are presented programs on various topics related to the beef industry. MGCA’s has won numerous awards over the years for outstanding achievement in the Georgia Cattlemen’s Association including GCA’s Chapter of the Year.
