Grain Field Day
Upson/ Lamar and Spalding extension office will be holding a grain field day August 13, 2015 on Race Track Road in The Rock. The event will start at 9:30am. There will be the possibility of an organic feed mill coming to the area. Topics covered will be corn with different fertilizer schemes and plant populations, grain sorghum planted behind small grain and crimson clover with different fertilizer levels applied and planted in 36in rows along with a grain drill on prepared seed bed and soybeans planted with no-till.
